Hey David,
I like this particular idea, as it fits the criteria that we mentioned on the first training call. As for your survey software ideas, you'll want to think through exactly A) what value does the survey give your prospects (real, immediate value) and B) why will they want to buy from you or your recommendations in the end.
Also, please post this in the Software Mastermind forum and not the general forum, which isn't launched yet.
